How to clear the cache in Dolphin

If you experience issues when you are making changes and/or modifications to your site you can try to clear the Dolphin cache. To clear all the cached files used by Dolphin please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your site via FTP
  • Delete all files within the /cache directory (except for the .htaccess file)
  • Delete all files within the /cache_public directory

You can also disable the caching options globally. To do it, you need to navigate to Admin Panel -> Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Template. Remove the check marks from the following:

Enable cache for HTML files:

Enable cache for images:

Enable cache for CSS files:

Enable cache for JS files:

Generally, it is a good idea to turn off the caching options while a site is under development. Once the site is created and is ready to go live, you can enable the caching options again.
