SiteGround customers can check the status of their hosting server by logging in their Customer Area and clicking on the Support tab.
There you will find a section "Server Status Update" which will provide you with information about the status of your hosting server and any current or planned maintenance.
If your server is up but you still experience problems with your FTP service, you can contact our support for assistance. All you need to do is post a ticket via the Support tab > Open a Support Ticket > Service Down > FTP Down.
Non-SiteGround customers should contact their hosts for further assistance.
