My domain does not resolve properly or shows incorrect site

There could be several reasons for your domain not to resolve or to show an incorrect site. For troubleshooting we recommend taking the following steps:

  1. Check the domain's expiration date using this online tool. If it has expired, you have to renew it and allow 24 hours for the DNS change to propagate and for the domain to start resolving to the correct server.
  2. Check the domain's nameservers using this online tool. You can find the correct DNS servers for your domain following these instructions.
  3. Remove any redirects for your site. For this purpose you should check your web hosting account for a .htaccess file and if there is such, you can disable it by renaming it, for example to htaccess.txt.
