How to retrieve the mails from the Spam Box?

In this case we assume you have enabled the Spam Box option in cPanel, SpamAssassin. From this point on all emails identified as spam will be moved to a separate folder for each email account.

In order to retrieve the emails from the spam box for your email account myaccount@mydomain.com, follow these steps:

1. Open your mail client;

2. Create a new mail account duplicating all settings for the original myaccount@mydomain.com. When specifying the account's username, specify:

myaccount@mydomain.com/spam

3. Check / Download the mail for the newly created email myaccount@mydomain.com/spam.

Note to substitute myaccount@mydomain.com with your account's details.

Setting up your email is easy when you have the right host by your side. If you need a reliable partner to help you resolve email issues and provide expert support, check out our email hosting services.
