Contact Form How-to

Before creating a contact form on your site you have to consider the following options:

- How will be the messages received - via an email account or administrative backend;
- Should this contact form be accessible to all visitors or just to registered clients, for example;
- Should it be integrated in your site and its design or not;
- How are you going to protect it from spam and security problems. Very often CAPTCHA is considered but it solely is not enough.

There are plenty resources online with instructions how to create a contact form in PHP, Perl or even plain HTML. However, in most cases you will need a professional web developer to create a reliable (SPAM protected) contact form and integrate it in your site.

One Contact form that you can easily install on your SiteGround account is phpFormGenerator, that is accessible from Softaculous (cPanel -> Softaculous -> phpFormGenerator).

Setting up your email is easy when you have the right host by your side. If you need a reliable partner to help you resolve email issues and provide expert support, check out our email hosting services.
