How to Modify my Title Tag in WordPress

To modify the title tag of your index page you need to login to the WordPress admin area and go to Settings ->General. On this page, edit the Site Title field and hit the Save button.

Unfortunately, by default WordPress doesn't provide you with the ability to set custom title for each post or page you crate. There are plugins like All in One SEO Pack, however, that add this functionality for you.

WordPress is a powerful software that is easy to work with once you have the right host to support you. Before you lose any more time with the wrong host, check out the SiteGround WordPress hosting offer.
