How to improve the performance of my Cloud hosting/Dedicated Server

If you wish to increase the performance of your Cloud hosting/Dedicated Server, we can offer you to install eAccelerator on your server.

eAccelerator is a free open-source PHP accelerator, optimizer, and dynamic content cache. It increases the performance of PHP scripts by caching them. It also optimizes scripts to speed up their execution. eAccelerator can reduce the server load and increase the speed of your PHP code by 1-10 times.

Please mind that eAccelerator does not work correctly with suEXEC. This means that if you wish to have eAccelerator installed on your server, the Apache webserver will have to be recompiled without suEXEC support.

After that all the files uploaded by your visitors will be with user nobody and you will not be able to modify them through cPanel or FTP.

Also, the removal of suEXEC and the usage of eAccelerator will decrease the security of your server. All the websites on the server will be run from Apache as user nobody and if the security of one website is compromised, it will be easy for the hackers to include malicious code in all websites hosted on the server.

You can order the installation of eAccelerator from your Help Desk > Other Technical Issues > Development Related Issues.
