How do I remove all the messages from the mail queue on my Dedicated server?

Sometimes you may want to clear the queue of e-mails pending delivery. Usually such issues occur when you receive a lot of spam messages. In such cases you can clear the mail queue in order to bring back the normal functionality of your mail service.

To do this, login as root to your Dedicated server via SSH. Then type the following command to delete your mail queue:

clearq

Note that this command will delete the new messages that were not delivered yet. This may lead to loss of important information for you!
