When you try to access your cPanel/Webmail through yourdomain.com:2083 / yourdomain.com:2096, you will be redirected to log in to your account through a secure HTTPS connection.
Your browser will display a warning about a problem with the certificate. In fact, there is absolutely no security problem. The connection is still secure and you can safely disregard the warning.
However, both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3 instead of a pop-up warning, show a whole error page notifying you about an SSL problem. To proceed to your cPanel/Webmail, depending on your browser, you should:
-
If you are using Internet Explorer 7, once the warning page opens, you should click Continue to this website (not recommended).
- If you are using Firefox 3, once the error page opens, you should click Or you can add an exception… > Add Exception... Then, in the pop-up window you should click Get Certificate and then Confirm Security Exception. To avoid having to go through this procedure every time you access your cPanel through a secure connection, you should tick the Permanently store this exception option available in the pop-up window.
Alternatively, you can avoid the SSL warnings by accessing your cPanel/Webmail through:

or

and your Webmail through:
