How to reset my Joomla 2.5 password?

If you have problems to access your Joomla 2.5 admin area and can not remember the correct password you can reset it directly from your database.

First, you should find which database your Joomla 2.5 installation uses. Detailed instructions are published in the following knowledge base article:

Then open your MySQL database management tool. The SiteGround clients can use phpMyAdmin available in their cPanel.

Load the tool and execute the following SQL query:

In the above query change Your_Joomla_Database  [/crayon]
