In order your PHPList to be fully functional when it is accessed by the server URL, after it has been installed it has to be reconfigured. You have to change the website and the domain variables in the database used by PHPList.
The easiest way to achieve this is to use the phpMyAdmin tool. Here are the steps which you should follow:
- go to your cPanel > phpMyAdmin
- once in phpMyAdmin, select the database used by PHPList from the drop-down on the left side
- click on the table named "phplist_config", then click "browse"; you will see a table with different configuration options
- in the column named "item" you will see two fields called "website" and "domain"; they have to be changed to the domain name of the server where your account resides; you can do this by clicking on the pencil icon and entering the domain of the server in the text field, where your domain appears
