Some Joomla templates come with additional resources in the package. Many of them include font files. Unfortunately, you cannot use any font with your website because if this font is not installed on the computer of your visitors it won't be displayed correctly.
Usually fonts are included within the template package because they are used in the design of certain images in the template. Therefore, you may want to use them to create banners and other images similar to the ones your template already uses.
- To install a font on Windows just paste the font file into the c:/windows/fonts folder.
- If you are using Linux, please follow the instructions for the particular distribution.
- If you are using Mac, double click on the font file and select the "Install font" option.
Once the font is installed on your system, you will be able to use it with your graphic software to create the desired images.
