Free tools for managing your Joomla SEO

Google's Adwords

This is a great tool for improving the search engine optimization of your Joomla. It can be found at:

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

First, you have to check if your results are for the right language and country, and then fill in your keywords. These options reside just above the input table. When you type the characters shown to you and hit Get keyword ideas, you will see how Google gives you information about:

    * Keywords
    * Advertising competition
    * Approximate search volume (for the previous month)
    * Approximate average search volume

Wordtracker

Although the free version of Wordtracker is limited in regard to the number of displayed results, this is a great tool which will help you in optimizing your Joomla website for the search engines. You can find it athttp://freekeywords.wordtracker.com. In addition to the functionality presented by the Google’s Adwords tool, Wordtracker shows you some additional information on the search topics such as daily search indication.

SEO Book Keyword Tool

This tool uses Wordtracker’s database, but it also shows the daily search estimates of Google, Yahoo and MSN. It is available at http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/.

When you type the term that you want to research, the results screen will present you with the option to use additional (built-in) tools such as Google's search-based keyword tool for example, which will show you the results instantly.

One very useful feature which the SEO Book Keyword Tool provides is the possibility to export the results to CSV format.
