How to fix a hacked CreLoaded website?

There is not a straight forward procedure regarding the repairing of a hacked CreLoaded web site.

However, there are several steps which might help you to resolve the problem:

1. Download your web site files locally to your computer. This can be completed using an FTP client. More details on how to use FTP can be found in the hostlantern FTP tutorial.

2. Scan them using the latest update for your anti virus software and let it clean the corrupted files.

3. Remove the files from your website and replace them with the ones you have just cleaned.

4. Make sure all your scripts are updated to the latest release. You can find detailed instructions on how to upgrade CreLoaded in the following Knowledge Base article:

5. You might want to check and remove any additional contributions you have added. Also, you should upgrade the ones that you keep.
