Often the online shop web masters might need to attach additional files in the products' descriptions.
For example you can have a product which comes with a comprehensive pdf documentation regarding its functionality. It will be difficult to include pages of text as a product description. The most suitable solution will be to enter a brief description and attach the comprehensive documentation as an additional pdf file.
The file can be uploaded and associated with an existing or a new product from the Joomla Administrator Area->Components->VirtueMart->Products. Select the chosen product and navigate to Add Image/File. There you can upload an additional file and save the modification.
Once you open your VirtueMart front-end you will see the uploaded file available for download under your product description.
