How do I point a parked domain to a specific folder?

The Parked Domains feature allows you to point a domain to your hosting account's public_html folder.

You can still use the redirect option under cPanel -> Parked Domains and redirect a parked domain name to a subfolder for your main domain. However, this will not keep the parked domain name in the URL. You will be redirected to a subfolder for the main domain.

In order to have a domain name pointed to a specific subfolder on your web hosting account, you need a hosting plan that allows using addon domains. This feature is available in our GrowBig and GoGeek hosting plans.

If you are using the StartUp hosting plan, but want to use the addon functionality, you need to upgrade your hosting plan from the Order section of your Customer Area.

For more information on how to use addon domains, you can check our Addon Domains tutorial.

cPanel is easy to work with when you have the right host to support you. If you need a reliable partner to help you manage your website with cPanel, check out our cPanel hosting services!
