Why is the Backup option disabled in cPanel?

cPanel's Full Backup function has been disabled for accounts over 500Mb because backing up such large accounts requires a lot of system resources and endangers the overall performance of the shared server. Furthermore, the integrity of such backups cannot be guaranteed.
